Obras de Arte by Geraldo Tejeda Sotero,16 Year Old Peruvian Artist

I’ve only had Peruvian food on very few occasions so when Jaqueline Arellano, Director of USA Programs for Border Kindness, mentioned that someone she knew started selling Peruvian food, I immediately placed an order. I picked up the food earlier today when I met Geraldo.

The Tejeda-Sotero family was incredibly welcoming. They had me try several dishes they made but oh my god the Aji de Gallina was my favorite! 🤤🤤🤤

While I was stuffing my mouth with samples of their delicious artisanal chocolates (check out Chocotejedas on FB), they showed me some of the art that Geraldo, the oldest son, had created. A whole table with art supplies with several finished paintings they are looking to sell.

How cool is that!

Geraldo’s Paintings

The original paintings will be auctioned. However, you can grab a copy of any of the below for $50 each. Please help me in supporting Geraldo’s artistic spirit. They really need the help. You can click on each photo to learn more about pricing.

If you’re interested in purchasing one of Geraldo’s works of art, you can reach out to them via their Tejeda’s Kitchen Facebook page.

By the way, Geraldo and his three siblings help their parents make amazing Peruvian food here in San Diego and will deliver it for free. Everything is made-to-order and 100% Peruvian dishes. You literally can’t find food like this in California.

Alternatively, reach out to me and I can connect you with them.

The Tejeda-Sotero Family

Geraldo and his family recently came to the US from Peru and are starting multiple businesses where they showcase the flavors and beauty of their culture. They are hustlers. Unfortunately, San Diego is an extremely expensive place to live, and they are barely getting by.

Karina, Geraldo’s mom, is starting to promote their multiple endeavors by creating social media accounts:

Check out their menu (Geraldo’s dad is a chef). You will not regret trying their food!
